Our Dogs

We've added a new member to our family! Bella came to live with us on 12/6/2008. As you can see, she is a beautiful beagle. She has the distinctive beagle howl and long, soft ears. She was born 12/31/2007 and still acts like a puppy. She has so much energy! She and Slinky get along very well, and Bella is learning that when Slinky is resting she wants to be left alone!
	Slinky was born in January, 2000. She came to us in November, 2001 -- she had been abandoned! Slinky is an extremely sweet dog, very loving and attentive. She quickly became the object of Snickers' affection and knew just how to get him going! In October, 2007 Slinky became a certified Therapy Pet. Marcie was born in April, 1991. We got her when she was about 12 weeks old, a sweet little puppy with huge beagle ears. She loved children, loved to play with other dogs, and she snored so loud that you could hear it all over the house. She had a happy life, but as she got older her hearing and eyesight got very poor and she wasn't able to get around. She died in our arms on February 9, 2007. We all miss her so much.	Snickers was born in June, 1994. He came to us in September, 1997. He was a sweet and loving dog, and he liked to guard the yard (by barking). The picture above was taken when he was young. As he got older, his face became very white and his hearing and eyesight failed, but until his last week he loved to eat. He died in our arms on November 8, 2008. We all miss his funny beagle bark and his sweet, smelly self.
